Typing Practice

Practice typing with your own text in any language or script, or use one of our ready-made tests. This is a typing tool—not a language-practice module.

Make it your own.

Use a passage you care about in any language, or start immediately with Shakespeare Shorts, Shakespeare Passages, or Dune quotes.

01

Use your own text

Load or drag in a plain-text file in any language or script. Use a blank line between prompts.

02

Or use a bundled test

Select one of the included tests directly on the start screen—no downloading or account needed.

03

Practice in any language

Use your own text or a bundled test to build typing fluency in any language.

How it works.

Start with one of the three included tests or upload your own plain-text .txt file in any language or script.

Each block of text becomes a separate typing prompt. Leave one blank line between prompts:

First typing prompt.

Second typing prompt.
Can be a poem or multi-line text.
Whenever a single line break is used, it appears in the exercise.

Third typing prompt.

Single blank lines separate exercises. Line breaks in continuing text are read as line breaks in the exercises.

Tip: Use AI and generate .txt files to practice with your favorite texts/quotes. Copy this section into your AI of choice and include the text you want to make exercises with to output clean .txt files for use here.
